PHOT3301 - Lens Based Narrative
Examines conceptual and aesthetic approaches that link photography and story telling through extension of the singular photographic image, and helps still-image makers recognize that creating meaning is essential in both commercial and fine art photographic practices. Deployment of narrative structure and communication of ideas are supported using a variety of strategies including interdisciplinary research, descriptive writing, documentary practices, tableau, and performative interventions.
