PHOT2301 - Photographic Thought
A critique intensive course designed to find artistic focus, creative direction, and conceptual direction through research and oral and written communication. The seminar introduces several readings and resources that provide the conceptual frameworks to understand the art process, such as: perception (gestalt), photographic history and aesthetics, and theoretical approaches that inform purposeful image production as well as build toward thesis preparation. Projects include development of a professional CV and a personal art statement.
